This is a wonderful tool, I use a version of the GVO Web-Video Conference Software called aptly enough GVO Conference!

It’s worth pointing out the difference here a webinar is more of an Online meeting where someone demonstrates a product or explains a concept using the conference software tools like whiteboard or powerpoint slides for example and then at the end allows the attendee’s to interact, using the other conference software tools mainly the text chat!

Video Conferences are a much more interactive use of the conferencing tools online, with multiple attendees faces being visible to each other and chatting as if they were in a board or meeting room somewhere.  The fact that the attendees can be in multiple locations, nationally or Internationally makes no difference.

Recording a video session and then being able to save it on a company website for example, is a major bonus, since if the material or subject matter has to be repeated again and again, doesn’t it make sense to record the session? and just put it Online perhaps on the company site so it can be accessed when needed?

The biggest take away from this post is the price of meetcheap conference.  For many people cheap means exactly that!  To the question is MeetCheap any good?  I will say “Yes”  in fact a very resounding yes!  Something to bare in mind is that meetcheap is the software love child of hotconference…. a very popular conferencing solution, which evolved into the flash version of gvo conference, which led to the invention of MeetCheap!  So to answer the question this is not some fly by night software, that will be here today and gone tomorrow, this is the ongoing and always innovative, progression of a very popular piece of Online Conferencing software that sells daily, in all it’s forms!
